Dr. Miranda Fernande Nava-Walichowski is the Chief Human Architect at Human Architects. Miranda is credentialed as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coaching Federation. She is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Learning Sciences program, Department of Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University.
Miranda has developed and teaches graduate-level coursework on coaching at Texas A&M University: Professional Coaching for Individuals, Professional Coaching in Groups and Teams, and Peer-Coaching in PK-12 Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Settings. Miranda is currently doing research on Flexible Leadership.
Miranda has over 1200 hours of executive and leadership coaching. She has worked with many teams and obtained marked improvements in their ability to become high-performing. Miranda conceptualized the BEAMS models, assessment, and process for team coaching, which is undergoing validity, reliability, and future development by Dr. Yu Sun.
Prior to obtaining her doctorate Miranda was a bilingual teacher in Galveston ISD. She also served as a Director of a Sylvan Learning Center.

Miranda and her husband, John, are parents to five children ages 27, 19, 15, 13, and 11. Miranda believes in the importance of leisure and the pursuit of challenges to build the capacity to be fully human. Miranda combines leisure and challenge as she trains and competes in powerlifting as a Masters 67kg lifter. She has qualified and competed at Nationals. She is currently working her way back from a non-lifting injury.
